It features a Grand Prix race track built in 1984, and a much longer old "North loop" track which was built in the 1920s around the village and medieval castle of Nürburg in the Eifel mountains. Ride around Africa

South Africa's great mountain roads provide incredible views, its safaris are full of wildlife, its brilliantly colored flora lights up the terrain and its friendly locals add to a trip brimming with memories to be made.

Whether you choose to ride on your own or join the tour guide, the daily briefings will give many riding options. After long, adventure-packed days on this 2,500-mile motorcycle tour, you'll have many stories to tell each night over an exquisite dinner in an Old World English-style hotel or a modern resort at the beach. Native South African dishes are influenced by Indian cuisine and also reflect the influence of the Dutch people who immigrated here in the 1600s. You'll find many menu selections loaded with fresh local fruits and vegetables.

From Johannesburg, the riding is easy as we head east toward Waterval Boven on curvy roads. Then we'll meander north toward Blyde River Canyon, which leads to the fantastic riding and vistas of Kruger National Park, where we'll spend a day on a safari looking for big game. The next days, we'll ride through the heart of Swaziland and on to Shakaland, where King Shaka ruled. This South Africa motorcycle tour offers a variety of riding excursions, including the coastal Garden Route, but will occasionally divert inland to catch some mountain passes and a stop in Oudtshoorn to ride an ostrich at a local ostrich farm.

Perhaps your most outstanding memory of this wonderful trip will be the ride along Chapmans Peak, where the road is carved into red rock 300 ft above sea level! This is one of the most spectacular twisty roads on the planet and leads to the Cape of Good Hope, where you'll watch the gigantic surf of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet and crash against the rocky cliffs!

Go shark diving

The boat normally leaves the harbour at about 8:45am or midday and takes 15 to 20 minutes to reach the channel between Geyser and Dyer islands. After the chumming and baiting the first Great White shark hones in with deadly accuracy - (sharks use their sense of smell......in the water). The Great White shark makes it's graceful and swift appearance from just below the sea level, leaping out of the water making it's presence felt from nowhere. A dorsal fin and part of the tail silently slice up through the water, leaving barely a wake. The undisputed lord of the deep has arrived!

Fly in a hot air balloon

As you float over a world that is only just waking up, your smile will be as wide as the horizon.

With the exception of Queenstown, hot air ballooning operators in New Zealand are usually found on the flatter parts of the country - North Auckland, Waikato, Hawke's Bay and Wairarapa.

North Island flights will take you above lush rural areas, where you can observe an ornate natural tapestry of pasture, crops, vineyards, forests, roads, rivers, lakes and towns. In the South Island, the imposing Southern Alps provide an impressive snow-capped backdrop for hot air balloon flights that float over the sprawling patchwork of the Canterbury Plains.

From inflating the envelope at the beginning of your adventure to the champagne breakfast that marks the end of your flight, hot air ballooning is a long-lasting thrill.

See Italy - COMPLETED

Ask an Italian where in the world they would most like to live, and the odds are that they will say "right here" Indeed, most people - not just Italians - have raved about Italy since tourism began, and to be honest the country really does have it all: one of the most diverse and beautiful landscapes in Europe; the world's greatest hoard of art treasures (many on display in fittingly spectacular cities and buildings); a climate that is on the whole benign; and, most important of all for many, a delicious and authentic national cuisine. The country is not perfect - its historic cities have often been marred by development, and beyond the showpiece sights the infrastructure is visibly straining - but for its places to visit, many of the old clichés still ring true; once you've visited, you may never want to travel anywhere else.
